STOCKHOLM, Sweden - As the car industry every year appoints the "Car of the Year", the Swedish consumer organization "Cykelfrämjandet" has appointed the Skeppshult STC to "Bike of the Year".
A qualified group of testriders has carefully checked quality, comfort and enjoyment of the nominated bikes to designated create a winner.
The price 2006 goes to the Skeppshult STC with the following motivation:
"Skeppshult STC is quality and price-wise a very good choice for both the rider that uses the bike every day and for the rider that uses the bike for leisure."
Skeppshult STC is available for both men and women, and in 8 speed gear hub or in 24 speed derailleur (both with rollerbrakes). Kjell Sture, MD for Skeppshult said:
"We are very proud that one of our models has got the award "Bike of the Year". We are very happy, that especially the STC has got the award, as we are very famous for our Classic bikes and not so known for our trekking/hybrid bikes."
