BRISTOL, UK - A new non-slip manhole cover is to be piloted on the streets of Bristol.
The city is the first in Europe to introduce the specially-coated covers, which are designed to stop motorbikes and bicycle tyres skidding. Bristol City Councillor Dennis Brown said: "This new type of cover should make the road much safer for two-wheeled traffic."
