DIJON, France - Céline Merger, current head of sales at Shimano France (since 2001) is taking the job of Directrice Générale Adjoint at LaPierre. Before joining Shimano France, Céline Merger had worked for BeOne, DiamondBack and Time. Her tasks will be divided over the following Shimano staff members: David Redois : OEM Sales + Décathlon OEM, Emmanuel Baillet : large accounts sales, Bruno Mandal : Aftermarket sales and Nicole Delahaye : Décathlon Aftermarket. At LaPierre, Céline Merger will become the ‘right hand’’ of company founder, Gilles LaPierre. The move comes at the same time the Accell group announces a limited investment in it’s other French brand, Mercier.
