FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany - "The trekking bike segment generated turnover of € 1.62 billion – accounting for nearly one-third of the industry total," says BBE expert Krüger. According to an analysis of bicycle travel prepared in 2006 by the ADFC (Germany's national bicycle club), 5.4 million people in Germany would consider going on a bicycling holiday.
