NEW DELHI, India – A new two wheeler show ‘1st International Bikex India’ is all set to make its mark in January 2007 to fill a void in the two wheeler show business. “There is no dedicated two wheeler show in India and we see a big opportunity waiting for us,” feels Mr Anil K Baali, Director (Asia Pacific), Sunstar Expositions Pvt Ltd, who has 25 years of experience in the show business, having worked with Reed Exhibitions and Global Interactives, Europe. “India has already become a 7 million plus two wheeler market, with companies like Hero Honda and Bajaj Auto already having crossed the million unit mark in annual production and companies like TVS not far behind. But there is no two wheeler show that represents the aspirations of these companies.
Bikex also profiles the bicycle segment as one of its major exhibitors besides the powered two wheeler segment. “We know that bicycles alone cannot pull the show, therefore, we have decided to organize ‘Bikex’ with both the two wheeler versions,” he added. The show profiles Motorcycles & Motorbikes, scooters, Bicycle, Trikes & ATV, Parts and Components, Tyres & Tubes, Helmets and driving accessories besides fashion shows, stunts and mountain bike track are the other major areas of attraction. The show will be organized in the Delhi show ground, Pragati Maidan.
