MAARSSEN, The Netherlands – This week’s rumour is also about France. Not only Cycleurope is faced with problems, the same goes for some wholesalers operating in the country that is dominated by low-end bike sales through Super and Hypermarkets, next to of course Decathlon.
About the number one wholesaler of the country it is said already for some time now that it is about to be taken over, or sold in seperate parts. About the number two wholesaling company there are also rumours going round saying that there are financial difficulties. Other sources claim however, that the company was able to get additional funding for 2 million euro.
