STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Cycleurope AB recently stated officially that Bianchi is not for sale. The statement is a reaction on strong rumours and recent publications in the Bike Europe eMail Newsletter and on this website. These publications said that Cycleurope owner Grimaldi Industri AB in Stockholm, Sweden is said to sell Bianchi due to heavy 2006 losses. The official Cycleurope statement about Bianchi says: “Following speculations in media and on the internet, Cycleurope AB clarifies that it is not in any talks regarding divestment of the Bianchi brand. Bianchi is (-) important for the future growth of the Cycleurope Group.”
