VILLENEUVE d’ASQ, France – Decathlon will build a new international logistic platform that is to open end 2008. The sporting goods giant plans to construct a 51,000 m² building that will be located in Dourges; near the A1 highway and about 20 kilometers south of Lille where the Decathlon headquarters are based. According to a report in the trade publication for the sporting goods sector ‘Sporting Goods Intelligence’, about 300 people will be working at this international warehouse that is to be completed in December 2008.
