Management Reshuffle at Troubled Ideal Poland

KUTNO, Poland – Louis Chan President of the Ideal Bike Corporation has reshuffled the management of his Polish subsidiary. With growing rumours on the loss of big customers and on the delivery reliability of Ideal Europe in Poland, it was also said that the facility was underperforming. This has lead to the resignation and replacement of Stephan Boschen as General Manager of Ideal Europe. 
Boschen was since June 2005 running the Polish factory. Before joining Ideal he worked for several bicycle manufacturers In Germany like VSF Fahrradmanufaktur, Derby Cycle Werke  and Riese und Mueller.
Mr. Chi-Chun ‘Center’ Chou, the Operations Director of Ideal Taiwan will replace Stephan Boschen as General Manager of Ideal Europe. Center is a long time employee of Ideal Bike Corp. and worked from 1990 to 1996 at Ideal Taiwan and helped that operation to grow from an annual production of 180,000 bicycles to 450,000 bicycles per year. In 1997, Center moved to China to help establish Ideal’s subsidiary company – Ideal Dong Guan, China which produced 600,000 bicycles in 2004.  In early 2005, Center transferred back to Ideal Taiwan to the newly created position of Director of Operations. Ideal Poland produced in 2006 about 75,000 bicycles.
