HEERENVEEN, The Netherlands - Accell Group’s German bike operation is being concentrated at one location.
Hercules Fahrrad GmbH & Co KG and Winora-Staiger GmbH will next November share one roof in Schweinfurt-Sennfeld and the company will be named Accell Duitsland GmbH. There’s also a new general manager: Susanne Puello (see picture).
She was general manager of the Winora Group, including its wholesale operation, Bike Parts. The former general manager of Hercules, Tobias Schweter, will resign at the end of next month. He will take on a new challenge in the bike sector. The production of Hercules bikes was already moved to Hungary earlier.
“The target of this operation will be cost reduction through synergy within the group”, says René Takens, CEO of Accell Group.
The whole operation will not affect the marketing and sales departments of the two companies; administration and management will be merged into Accell Duitsland GmbH.
