BASEL, Switzerland - It looks like the Swiss are going to get their second bike show next year. Besides the ‘Bike Days’ close to Zürich in May next year, the Messe Schweiz has planned to organise their own consumer show, the ‘Twoo’, before the Zürich ‘Bike Days’. ‘Twoo’ is planned in Basel from 21 – 24 February.
‘Bike Days’ are planned for May. “The ‘Twoo’ will show the full range ofbicycle products”, says Frank Malter, event manager of Messe Schweiz, “the former 2-Rad in Zürich was the example for our new show.”
“Visitors will find road race bikes, MTB, freestyle bikes as well as trekking and city bikes. The first responses of the industry have been very positive so we will continue with the presentation of ‘Twoo’, including our website, at Eurobike.”
