Truvativ founder back in bike industry
SAN OBISCO, USA – After selling Truvativ, Micki Kozuscheck, founder of Maxcycles and Truvativ, took a time-out. At Eurobike and Interbike, Kozuscheck will make his comeback with his new accessories brand Lezyne with some “well-designed and payable products like pumps, mini tools, saddle bags and backpacks with hydration systems”.
Kozuscheck claims he has been working on Lezyne since last March. Taiwanese Truvativ co-founder Gary Peng is a silent shareholder in the new brand.
Some other long-time Truvativ companions, like Lenny Wang and Dillon Clapp have joined in as shareholders and managers. The entire team is currently starting up a factory in Taichung because, Kozuscheck says: “production- and quality-wise Taiwan is still ahead.”
Right after Eurobike Kozuscheck plans to appoint the exclusive European distributors for Lezyne.
