TIANJIN, China – Bike Europe already reported on Giant’s decision to set up an extra factory in China to host increasing sales in the Northern part of the country (see: website Bike Europe).
What is rumoured now is that this new facility is to take over the production from the existing Giant factory in Kunshan. Production is to start already in March 2008 and it is also said that the new production base is to cater for the low-end Chinese market.
