COLOGNE, Germany – Next Thursday the IFMA 2007 will open its doors. Following its successful relocation to the new northern section of the Cologne exhibition centre in 2006, the 2007 fair will have a new hall layout. This year almost all of exhibitors will be presenting their products in Halls 6 and 7.
The entire program of the indoor supporting events, the special shows, and the indoor test tracks will be located in Hall 9, which is reserved for testing and special events.
Here visitors will also find the exhibitors of related products, the travel suppliers, and the Chinese companies from the booming e-bike segment. One of the special features between Halls 6 and 7 will be a large outdoor test track. “We’ll be addressing our two target groups, the international bike business and tens of thousands of non-trade bike enthusiasts, even more specifically with this approach,” says Oliver P. Kuhrt, Executive Vice President of the Koelnmesse.
A considerably large area in Hall 9 will be dedicated to e-bikes and pedelecs. Extra Energy and numerous suppliers will be showcasing their wide-ranging products for this segment.
