CHICAGO, US – SRAM again added a new brand and company to its growing portfolio. The acquisition of the US based carbon wheel producer Zipp has been finalised within 45 days. SRAM has guaranteed that Zipp will continue its business as usual and there will be no layoffs.
The current high-tech Indianapolis location will remain the manufacturing center for Zipp wheels and components. All Zipp product warranties will be honoured and continue to be serviced in the Indianapolis facility. The Zipp management team will remain intact as well the distribution network.
