TAIPEI, Taiwan – The Taipei Int’l Cycle Show unofficially started tonight. The Velo & Wellgo party which has become a traditional event visited by many industry insiders, signalled the start of the 21th Taipei Int’l Cycle Show.
In the Grand Hyatt hotel Velo and Wellgo treated their guests on a show that varied from traditional Chinese acts up to a top rock band from Taipei performing with covers from famous international artists. But of course the main acts were for Velo’s Stella Yu and Wellgo’s John Chen (see photo).
Tomorrow the Taipei Int’l Cycle starts officially and will run up to March 16. The main event tomorrow is the official opening of the new Nangang Exhibition Center where the Taipei Cycle Show is taking place. That official opening will take place at 14:00 hrs at the Lobby entrance on the 4th floor. It is said that the President of the Republic of China, Taiwan ROC will lead the official Opening Ceremony.
