TAIPEI, Taiwan - As of May 1, the International Bicycle Design Competition is open for entries. They can be filed at HERE up to August 10. From all entries 21 finalists will be selected and notified by September 15, 2008.
The 21 finalist are requested to submit a small-scale model of their entry before December 20, 2008. The final results will be announced on March 17, 2009, the first day of the 2009 Taipei International Cycle Show. The Grand Prize for this only international bicycle design competition is NT$500,000.
