Eurobike Changes Opening Hours
Friedrichshafen, Germany – The initially announced new opening hours of the Eurobike met with protest among exhibitors and trade visitors. In order to avoid the evening rush-hour Eurobike changed its opening hours on the trade visitor days from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Too late, was the opinion of many people.
Therefore Eurobike decided to bring the trade show’s official closing time forward to 7:00 pm after consultations with exhibitors and trade visitors. “We hope that this fine-tuning will provide better access to the trade show by avoiding the rush-hours,” says Messe Friedrichshafen CEO Klaus Wellmann. On the trade days the doors will open at 10:00 am as earlier announced.
New location demo day
Eurobike has found a new and larger test area for the demo day on Wednesday, 3 September, the day before the opening of the show. It is located in Argenbühl. According to Eurobike the new area is easily accessible and a roughly 35-minute drive from the exhibition grounds and only three minutes from the A96 that connects Munich with Lindau. This location offers enough space to accommodate the large crowds that are expected to attend the second demo day.
Last year some 1,000 dealers and 300 journalists came to the first edition of the demo day which ended in mud after a day of rain. A total of 70 companies were represented in the Vorarlberg region of Austria.
