Taipei Cycle Show Sticks to March 09 Dates
TAIPEI, Taiwan – Despite earlier reports about moving the dates of the Taipei Int’l Cycle Show to February or as early as January next year, it looks as if nothing will change. It is said that TAITRA intends to stick to the scheduled dates March 17 to 20, 2009. In a survey conducted during the show by TAITRA, a big majority of exhibitors and trade visitors are said to have voted in favour of the March dates.
Just after this year’s Taipei Cycle Show we reported about the dissatisfaction with the show timing among exhibitors. This has resulted in mini trade shows organized by individual companies in December in Taichung, Taiwan. These mini shows are joining forces for organizing a Taichung Int’l Cycle Show that according to the initiators, is said to premier in 2010.
