Mobility Week 2008: ETRA Helps To Clean European Air
GENT, Belgium – Next September 16th ETRA will organize a pedelec, bicycle, electric PTWs, components and accessories show on the esplanade of the European Parliament. This show will take place in the framework of the European Mobility Week aimed at promoting sustainable mobility. It will take place from 16 till 22 September 2008. This year’s motto is “Clean air for All”.
In the past years, see photo, ETRA has established a reputation for promoting two-wheelers in the European institutions. Last year, in the framework of the Mobility Week, ETRA has organized an electric bike ride for Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and a small show in the Parliament. Last June, in the framework of the Green Week, ETRA had set up a test-track and show of (electric) bicycles on the esplanade of the Berlaymont building in Brussels.
The Mobility Week is an opportunity for the bicycle industry to create awareness among European decision-makers of the state of the art in the field of two-wheelers as well as of what emission-free two-wheelers can do for their policies. The show will be attended by MEPs, Parliament staff and representatives from other European institutions.
The show will take place on Tuesday 16 September 2008 from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. For further details and participation contact: Annick Roetynck, tel. +32 9 233 60 05, E-mail etra@pandora.be
