Four Year Warranty on Campagnolo 11-speed
VICENZA, Italy – The introduction of the Campagnolo 11-speed has been one of the technological highlights this year. According to Campagnolo the aim was to increase performance by reducing the thicknesses and lowering the weight by using extremely advanced materials.
Campagnolo also wanted to provide long-term reliability. After the launch of the new drivetrain the Italians want to underline the reliability of their products and they have expanded the warranty of the components of the 11-speed set to four years.
The warranty includes all components of the drivetrain only if they are part of a complete system: crankset, Ergopower controls, front and rear derailleur, chain and sprocket set.
Despite the Campagnolo’s technological achievement to develop the 11-speed we have our doubts about their motivation to launch this product. Their answer on the question why they developed and introduced 11-speed was: “because cyclists are never happy”.
