Paris Cycle Show Goes Yearly In September
PARIS, France – The gap in the international bicycle show calendar that was left behind by IFMA-Cologne has been filled up by the Paris Cycle Show. Last week the organizer of the “Salon du Cycle” announced that the show will take place every year as of 2010.
In that year the Paris Cycle Show will take place from September 10th until the 13th. This is shortly after Eurobike and more important for the French market, before Roc d’Azur and R’Bike.
Stand alone event
The annual pace of the bicycle show can be regarded as a test. According to the show organizers some 80% of the bicycle exhibitors preferred a show every year, even if this means that the cycle show will be a stand alone event. The motor and scooter show will remain a bi-annual event.
The 2009 edition of the Paris Cycle Show will take place from Friday 2nd of October until Monday 5th of October, still as a part of the ‘Mondial de deux Roues’. Friday and Monday are trade only, while the doors will be open for the general public on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday.
