FINALE LIGURE, Italy – Due to a lack of interest the European part of the Ride-On event has been cancelled. This show was due to be held from 13-15 of February. The bicycle business get-together was about to take place in Finale Ligura, Italy.
According to organizer Mike Johnston (photo), “the number of exhibitors was too small to go on with the Ride On Europe. This also makes clear that December is the best period for exhibitors, product manager and buyers to meet in such an event. February is simply too late. Ride On Taiwan last December has been more than successful.”
Some ten years ago Ride-On took place for the first time in Europe. During the past four years the event was also organized in Taiwan. This Asian version has taken the lead among product managers and today it is regarded as the show ‘not to be missed’.
The Taichung 2009 event will take place as planned next December.
