Taichung Bike Week Getting Bigger and Bigger
TAICHUNG, Taiwan - In an update on the report we did end of May on the Taichung Bike Week (click here for that story); the news is now that this event is getting bigger and bigger.
As it stands now the Taichung Bike Week which will this year take place December 5th – 13th, 2009, will have over one hundred component makers showing their 2011 line-ups to hundreds of product managers from all over the world.
As reported locations of the 2009 Taichung Bike Week are the Landis/Tempus and Splendor hotels in Taichung while the companies taking part in Ride-On will, as always, be in the Freshfields hotel also in Taichung. As the interest is overwhelming now also the Evergreen hotel in Taichung is taking part in the event.
The Evergreen is offering USD 85 a night for hotel rooms to match the rates offered by Splendor and also a section of rooms all located together that are suites that can be used for exhibiting as well as doubling as bedrooms. The meeting rooms for the Splendor hotel are now arranged with a total of some 50-60 exhibitors now rushing to secure places.
Taichung Bike Week organizer Steven Fenton says: “I have been overwhelmed by the amount of brands wanting to be here. But I am still vetting all applications to make sure we keep this a 100% OEM event.”
