Elite Celebrates 30th Anniversary
FONTANIVA, Italy – This year Elite celebrates its 30th anniversary. It’s an important milestone anniversary for the Sartore family, who has guided the Elite brand and its products to international success.
Many seasons have gone by since the company’s first water bottles and water bottle cages to today’s latest models from the 2009 collection and the extraordinary Realpower CT, the new generation electronic home trainer.
“For us, these first thirty years mark a great accomplishment,” explains Giulio Bertolo, the company’s General Manager. “But it also marks a new beginning. Our staff is guided by a passion for our work and a love of cycling. Our greatest gratifications don’t just come from victories by our sponsored teams but from the appreciation and satisfaction expressed by our clients when they use Elite products.”
Since 1979 all of the world’s greatest cycling champions have won with Elite as the brand sponsors the strongest professional teams in the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta España, as well as the World Championships, the Olympics and all the great classic cycling races worldwide.
To celebrate their 30th birthday, Elite has redesigned the graphics on its entire range of water bottle cages and has developed a special water bottle with the official 1979 - 2009 anniversary logo.
