BANGKOK, Thailand – Bangkok Cycle Industries (BCi) has added Bico Marketing GmbH to its European customer base. Axel Bose, Bico’s managing director announced that “the relationship with BCi started in 2006 when we sourced children’s bikes under the Falter brand”.

Since then, Bico (the German dealer cooperative) has extended the range to include 12-inch through to 24-inch. “Following the successful launch of these bikes and the consistent quality we achieved from the BCi factory, we will now proceed to order the 26-inch ATB and City bikes for the 2010 model year to be built in Thailand”, stated Bico Product Manager Rainer Brinkman.

Helmut Sova, Bico's President added that “with BCi we have found a partner capable of consistently delivering the quality of product that we need. They have a highly creative and dynamic working environment which matches the culture here in Bico.”

BCi, started in 1989, has a capacity of 1.9 million units in two purpose built factories west of Bangkok city. Managing Director of BCI, Prakit Lertyaovarit adds “our philosophy has always been to offer consistently high standards of quality and to develop our business in partnership with our customers needs”.

The BCI manufacturing facility has its own EN frame testing laboratory while the entire operation has a documented quality control.
