Take-Over of Dutch Perfect Bike Tyres

WOLVEGA, The Netherlands - Dutch Perfect bike tyres have been taken over by Alex Travaillé from Jan en Froukje Hunneman. New owner Travaillé is not new to the bike business as he used to work for Batavus and the Accell Group as production manager.

He leads Dutch Perfect from its new location in Wolvega, The Netherlands where all production facilities as well as inventories have moved to. From here, next to production also all sales and marketing activities are taking place by the Dutch Perfect team which is expanded with commercial manager Herman Wind.

Henk van Apeldoorn remains in charge for Dutch Perfect sales in Europe as sales manager Europe. With the take-over a new logo and house-style has been developed which will be on the newest Dutch Perfect tyres that are to be presented this September.

For over twenty years Dutch Perfect was run by Jan en Froukje Hunneman. They will now focus more on product development which has been their core interest for years and from which Dutch Perfect was founded in 1997 when they launched their first ‘Dutch Perfect’  No Flat tyre. This patented tyre has since been successfully marketed throughout Europe and is still being distributed through wholesalers and bike manufacturers. Hunneman also developed machinery for fitting reflective striping on bike tyres.
