Biretco Reaches Milestone in Belgium
BREDA, the Netherlands – Birecto has reached a new milestone in the European wide roll out of its shop concepts. The Dutch retail organization has just enlisted its 60th member/dealer in Belgium; Cycles Emrin in Nieuwenrode.
In the past twelve months Biretco has seen a substantial growth on the Belgium market. With sixty affiliated stores, Biretco is now claiming to be the biggest bicycle retail organization in Belgium.
Cycles Emrin in Nieuwenrode is currently operated by the fourth generation; Jozef Gilles. The shop was originally founded in 1908 by Isidoor Emmerechts and renamed to Cycles Emrin by the current owner.
For the Belgium market Biretco is offering two concepts for bicycle retailers to cooperate in. These are Profile Fietsspecialist and Biretco Buying Group. Biretco’s goal is to grow to 150 member/dealers in Belgium. Cycle Emrin has become part of the Biretco Buying Group.
With over 750 affiliated stores and more than 400 contracted suppliers, Biretco is one of the largest full-service retail organizations in the European bicycle sector.
