THE HAGUE, Netherlands – Ultra Motor has opened a Benelux sales office located in The Hague, The Netherlands. With that the globally operating Light Electric Vehicle (LEV) company that started seven years ago and after entering the US and Indian markets, is now taking on Europe, took another milestone. In the summer of 2008 Ultra Motor set up a European headquarters in London.
Ultra Motor Benelux will, next to of course a sales team, also house the technical support team to assist the Ultra Motor dealers in Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg. Ultra Motor Benelux that already started its dealer-direct deliveries, is headed by Martijn Wigmans who comes from Johhny Loco in which he still owns a shareholding stake.
At its Eurobike booth (EE-42) it will be possible to test Ultra Motor’s latest A2B model (photo), which as a company’s spokesperson said: “Although it looks a bit like a bicycle, it performs more like a scooter - at much lower weight.”
