BUNNIK, The Netherlands - BBB, the P&A brand of Augusta Benelux, is now on sale worldwide in more than 13,000 stores spread over 36 countries. This is not only an international BBB accessory brand, but also above all an innovative brand that is developed entirely in-house.

To stress that message once again Augusta opted this year for a totally new dealershow concept. No hotel presentations, but the collective dealer corps of Augusta was treated to huge show at a disco in Bunnik, the Netherlands.

The choice for this concept appeared to be a right one, as was witnessed by the more than 600 dealers that attended. Fashion shows, products presentations with highlighted development stages of new products as well as new employees; all came in the spotlights.

"Many dealers who have been working with BBB for a long time did not realize that already for years everything is developed in-house," says director Chris Koppert. "In countries where we have not been on the market that long, we do not have to explain this, because they know us only as BBB is today."

Sales Manager Marc Roelofsen said that some months ago he was faced with a dilemma when the economic problems in the world followed each other in an alarming speed. At that time the production order should be placed. "We have chosen to ignore all the negative messages and subsequently that was the correct choice, boosting our delivery rate to 99.87% of the complete range.

Roelofsen expects to even top that with the updated website and as dealers will receive a digital delivery note on their supplies. Moreover, the website will be multilingual and next to English also be in Dutch and French.

Leon Overgaag, product development manager, gave an insight into the art of developing new products using a practical example of new foot pumps. "We are always looking for problem-solving products and for that opted for a cooperation with WTOS which is part of the Technical University Delft, in the Netherlands as well as the The Hague University. Currently, we are investigating how to focus on the e-Bike trend."

After the presentations the cocktail hour started for networking and subsequently the dinner buffets were opened. The evening was enlivened by an excellent band, culminating with a guest appearance by Olivia Lewis.
