UTRECHT, the Netherlands – The bike industry in Holland and Belgium is looking forward to the start of the biggest bicycle show in the Benelux; Bike Motion Benelux. The 14th edition of this sporting venue for cyclists has become a major bike event, full of product presentations and entertainment, together with cycling celebrities.
In the past years Bike Motion Benelux welcomed more and more visitors who all came to see the latest development in the sports bicycle segments. The 2009 edition will see the addition of an extra, 4th hall. After the big international shows, the Dutch and Belgian retailers and consumers can see all the new products for the first time.
“Great platform for direct contact”
“Bike Motion Benelux is a great platform for direct contact between manufacturer and consumer”, says Jordy Veldhuizen, Retail Support Manager at Giant Benelux. “Besides the input of the professionals via the Dutch Rabo Cycling team the opinion of the consumer is of great importance to product development.”
During the Tour the France last Summer Koga also got a lot of media coverage. The brand’s ambition to return to the top in road racing was marked by the remarkable return to the Tour de France with team Skil-Shimano. The struggle of Kenny van Hummel was appreciated by many fans around the world. Not surprisingly the Koga presentation at the Bike Motion will be dominated by racing and the Tour including meet & greet sessions with the ‘famous’ team riders.
