DIEREN, The Netherlands – Gazelle’s 2010 models are to the liking of its dealers as they are abundantly (winter) ordered at the recently held dealershows.
A sharp increase in order intake is urging the market leader on the Dutch bike market to step up its production in the coming months by 20%.
Gazelle got very positive responses from its dealers on (among others) its new Hydroformed frames used in its high-end City Bikes. Also the new Flow Line chain guard used on Gazelle’s best selling Chamonix models as well as the launch of new life-style bikes were welcomed by many orders from dealers.
“All this resulted in an order intake that exceeded our expectations and urges us to increase production by 20% this fall and winter,” says Gazelle’s Communications Manager Ronald Ter Braak.
