2009 OE mini-shows United under Taichung Bike Week Roof

TAICHUNG, Taiwan – What started here more than ten years ago as an informal meeting of OEM product managers and parts suppliers is turning a new page in its history with the 2009 edition (Dec. 5-13). For the first time all the mini-shows will take place under the banner of the Taichung Bike Week organization.

That roof organization is coordinating all aspects of this important end-of-the-year industry gathering. Bringing all the separate events (Ride-On, Taiwanathon, First-in-Performance and TBW) together will hopefully rule out mishaps such as product managers that have the dates wrong.

With participation from about 100 companies this December 5 – 13, it is even more important to coordinate all the aspects of this industry event. Next to that the Taichung Bike Week organization is guarding the objectives of this internationally recognized industry meeting place.

Those objectives are to bring together at a critical time in the year parts suppliers and OEM product managers to review and finalize specification decisions. Taichung Bike Week must bring them within 7 to 10 days a pretty good idea of how their 2011 specs will be, as they can see the developments in bicycle component supplier’s lines.
