This year’s Taichung Bike Week (TBW) will be a very special one for Full Speed Ahead (FSA). The component brand from TH Industries is officially opening its brand new facility in Taiwan and is using TBW to festively signal its start. The hundreds of products managers from all over the world visiting TBW are invited to join the opening party on December 10.

With joining the festive official opening the product managers will get the chance to see what plans TH Industries/FSA has in store for the global bike market with its new facility. A big part of these plans is focused on carbon components.

TH Industries/FSA intends to increase its offering in such high-end parts in which it already made a name for itself with a wide range of carbon cranksets, handlebars and wheelsets. More is to come. And as it is one of the few companies making such parts in Taiwan under a stringent quality control regime instead of in China, TH Industries/FSA intends to exploit that fact.

The component maker is aiming on offering products of an even higher quality level suitable for the ultra high-end bikes while at the same time FSA will continue to develop components for the Freeride and Triathlon markets under its Gravity and Vision brand names.

With the new factory TH Industries/FSA is increasing it production capacity with 15 to 20%. Next to a higher output it offers more flexibility in production planning and with that shortened shipping times for better service to FSA customers.

The new factory houses a dedicated area (doubled in size compared to the old factory) for quality control. Here all the test devices are located for (among others) the CEN regulations and certifications.

On December 10 at 8:30 am shuttle buses will be at the Tempus, Splendor and Evergreen hotels; at 9:30 the tour of the new facility starts; the official opening ceremony is at 11:30 followed by lunch and at 13:30 the shuttle buses return to the hotels. The festive factory opening is by invitation only.
