TAICHUNG, Taiwan – Contrary to earlier announcements by the organizing team the Taichung Bike Week 2010 will not take place next November. The final dates have been set for December 4 to 8, 2010.
The Taichung Bike Week (TBW) will be a linking event between Ride On, which will take place December 1 to 6, 2010 and SRAM’s Taiwanathon; scheduled for December 5 to 8, 2010.
With the December dates TBW manages to bring the bicycle industry again together under one umbrella and strives to provide product managers with the perfect environment in which they utilize their time in Taichung and perform their duties with maximum efficiency.
Just like last year, the main hotels in which Taichung Bike Week will be held are the Splendor and the Tempus in downtown Taichung together with Freshfields for Ride On. Both Tempus and Splendor are doing their best to accommodate all exhibitors and customers. The Taichung City government will again support the event with shuttle busses between the participating hotels as well as with visitor and exhibitor information services at each of the hotels.
The TBW dinner will be hosted by courtesy of Taichung Mayor Hu on Dec. 6, 2010 at the Splendor hotel. This event is free to all members of the bicycle industry, but due to high interest it will be necessary to register at the website.
