Important Management Changes at Dutch Blomson International

BEVERWIJK. The Netherlands – Blomson International, one of  the bigger bike distributors based in the Netherlands, is enlarging its management team with a well know figure of the county’s bike sector. Former AGU director Rolf Timmerman (38) (photo) is joining Blomson International as per April 19, 2010.

As Bikes Managing Director Timmerman will be supervising the company’s activities with its bike brands Montego, BeOne and Oyama. In a press release Blomson International says: “During the past years growth of Montego and BeOne have turned them into well established brands in the Netherlands. In order to secure and structure the continued growth of these brands Blomson International decided to strengthen its management team.”

This decision has also been made with a view on the future focus of Blomson International. The company says that its number one priority is: “To continue the development of affordable, high quality and innovative bike collections, followed by further expanding the national and international dealer networks.”

Rolf Timmerman comes from AGU BV; one of the biggest importers/ wholesalers in the Netherlands. Here he was Group Commercial Director.

With Timmerman joining Blomson International’s management team, owner Maurice Blom will focus more on the company’s trading and export activities.
