FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany - The international bicycle industry will have the opportunity to apply for the renowned Eurobike Awards for the sixth time in 2010. Registration deadline is July 30, 2010. This year is the third time that the Eurobike Green Award will honour one particularly environmentally friendly, sustainable product.
Online registrations for the sixth Eurobike Award, which will be hosted by Messe Friedrichshafen and organized by iF are welcome starting immediately. Manufacturers, designers and engineers are invited to enter their innovative products and concepts up until July 30, 2010.
Products can be registered for the competition in the following 18 categories:
- All-terrain bikes/Traveler’s bikes/Trekking bikes
- BMX bikes/Dirt bikes
- City bikes
- Cross/Fitness/Speed bikes
- Cruisers/Designer bikes
- E-bikes
- Family transportation/Kids’ bikes
- Folding bikes
- Mountain bikes Downhill/Enduro/Freerider
- Mountain bikes Hardtail
- Mountain bikes Full-Suspension
- Racing bikes
- Special bikes
- Apparel
- Electronic components/components
- Frames
- Accessories
- Concepts (a category dedicated to students who enter experimental drafts of products that have not yet been realized and studies and is free of charge)
The Awards Ceremony will take place during the Eurobike Show in Friedrichshafen on September 1 at 18.00 on the fashion stage in the Foyer East. All the award-winning products will be on display during the Eurobike Show from September 1 to 4.
