OSAKA, Japan – Mid June Shimano will officially launch its new range of e-Bike components. The presentations to OEMs and press will take place in week 24 (June 14- 20).
The first signs on Shimano’s start in e-Bikes were there already two years ago. However, at that time the component company continued to refrain from comments on questions regarding the development of parts for e-Bikes.
But just before the start of this year’s Taipei International Cycle Show Shimano announced to a number of bike makers that they will have a range of e-Bike components ready for delivery for ModelYear 2012 electric bikes. This range is to be launched in week 24.
