CHESTER, UK – Chitech Europe, the trade supplier of bikes to large volume customers throughout Europe, has appointed Christian Payen as French sales agent in the first stage in a pro-active European expansion programme.

Chitech Europe is not an importer as its customers deal direct with the company’s dedicated bike factory. Chitech claims: “This factory is one of the largest in the world, giving our customers access to the best range available of mass market bikes for children and adults.” Chitech customers are, among others, brands like Barbie, Hot Wheels and Tony Hawk.

Chitech CEO Roy Jones was keen to capitalise on recent account wins. “Chitech Europe has signed a number of exciting brand license agreements in the last year. Capitalising on this success, we feel the time is right to promote the quality of bicycles which we produce, and to attract new retailers across Europe, delivering high fashion colourful bikes that generate excellent sales at retail level.”

Chitech Industries France is now established in Paris which enables domestic deliveries to key French retailers. With over 20 years experience in the USA, Christian Payen is now resident in his native France. He will spearhead direct factory shipments into key French customers.

“We’ve already received new orders from major French customers,” said Roy Jones. “With existing business from pan-European retailers, we intend appointing more European agents over the coming months.  It’s really a testament to our performance and product sales that we’re expanding this quickly.”
