Shimano Europe Expands Distribution of Easton-Bell Sports Brands
NUNSPEET, the Netherlands - Shimano Europe has expanded the distribution of Easton-Bell Sports’ (EBS) cycling brands to include subsidiaries Shimano France and Shimano Poland.
The addition of the two distributors supplements EBS’ long-standing agreements with Shimano Benelux and Shimano Nordic. Shimano France now distributes Bell cycling helmets, Blackburn accessories, and Giro cycling helmets, eyewear and gloves. Shimano Poland carries those lines as well as Easton wheels and components.
“Shimano Europe has been a great partner for us in the Benelux and Nordic regions,” said Easton-Bell Sports Senior Vice President Greg Shapleigh. “We think the expansion into France and Poland will be a mutually beneficial arrangement.” Easton-Bell Sports, Inc. based in Van Nuys, California, USA is a leading designer, developer and marketer of brands like Easton, Bell, Giro and Blackburn.
“Easton-Bell Sports really represents strong brands with a passion for cycling,” said Marc van Rooij, president of the Shimano Europe Bike Holding. “Our experience with the exclusive distribution of Bell, Giro and Blackburn in the Benelux, Sweden and Finland gives us a lot of confidence on the expansion of our partnership.”
