LAKE FOREST/Ca, USA (October 21) - Pacific Cycle/GT Bicycles appointed Epple Zwetrad as its new German distributor. Schwinn/GT previously distributed the GT brand in Germany prior to their bankruptcy. Epple has been supplying the German IBDs for over than 70 years, with their own locally manufactures range of Trekking bikes. Epple operates warehouse facilities in Memmingen and Bayreuth, with over 120 employees to service around 3,800 dealers throughout Germany. The GT range that Epple will distribute in Germany varies from BMX to high end i-drive suspension models. (FN)
