BBB Changes Distribution Strategy in UK

LEIDEN, the Netherlands - Parts and accessories brand BBB has chosen a new distribution partner for the UK. “Our new distribution strategy will create a bigger focus on product development and marketing, concentrating on the IBD’s only”, says BBB’s CEO Chris Koppert.

As of 2011 the new exclusive distribution partner for the UK will be Windwave. “As Windwave is a marketing and service driven company with a clear focus on IBD’s and dedicated employees we are confident about the future for both ourselves and our customers”, says Chris Koppert. Today BBB services more than 15,000 IBD’s in 38 countries.

BBB’s strategy to focus on product development starts to show as more and more exclusive products enter the Pro Tour scene. The product range is supported by a shop-in-shop system that stimulates impulse purchasing at IBD’s and offers the opportunity to present the products in an attractive and professional manner.

“BBB has been improving their product range constantly, getting to a point where top athletes of Quick-Step, Cofidis and Vacansoleil are asking for the BBB products. Look at the Quick-Step riders, using BBB helmets, sport glasses, cycling computers and many other products in training. This is clearly a confirmation that they are heading in the right direction”, says Windwave MD Peter Nisbet.
