ARGENBÜHL, Germany – Lots of newcomers officially entered today the market for electric bicycles. At the Demo Day Cannondale (photo), Merida, Scott, Stevens and others showed their brand-new electric bikes for the first time fitted with the also brand-new Bosch e-Bike drive system.
Did the new Cannondale/Bosch e-Bike stirred up the masses at the this year’s Demo Day? Well, in particular a prototype looking sports model fitted with the Bosch e-drive system attracted lots of attention.
Next to this model there were more Trekking styled e-Bikes which are part of Cannondale’s new E-Series. This series comes with an Urban model in standard and step thru styles for both men and women. They are on display at the Cannondale stand in Hall A6, booth 300.
