TAIPEI, Taiwan (20 September 2000) -- CETRA, organizers of the Taipei International Cycle Show, has announced it will increase the fair's floor space by adding another exhibition hall. The new hall is however not located on the current fairground premises, but is a 15 minute walk down the road, a distance that could prove a barrier for attracting show participants. The new hall is approximately 3000 square meters big and offers exhibition room to some 330 stands. It is not yet clear whether the entire hall will be used for next year's show or just part of it. Initially, CETRA hoped to house foreign exhibitors in the new hall, but has since changed its mind. According to COLIPED, who defended the interest of foreign exhibitors to be located in the main hall (as usual), CETRA is working on a number of smart transport solutions to carry visitors from one facility to the other.
