COLOGNE, Germany - ZEG, the biggest twowheeler retail organization in Europe, has reached an agreement with Batavus and Koga Miyata (both Accell Group) to cooperate, starting in the 2000-2001 season. ZEG and Koga Miyata will cooperate in Germany, the Netherlands an Belgium. Batavus, for a start, will cooperate with ZEG in Belgium and the Netherlands only . With this move, the partners hope to strengthen their mutual positions on the respective markets. ZEG has 55 members in the Netherlands, 20 in Belgium and an approximate 650 in Germany. ZEG expects its number of outlets to grow, as a result of this cooperation. On the long term, ZEG targets 150 dealers in Holland and Belgium.
