BOLOGNA, Italy - At the Bologna Motor Show, Aprilia unveiled a prototype of their ENJOY pedelec driven by a hydrogen fed fuel cell replacing its NiMh 13A/24V battery.Refilling can take only minutes and weight is reduced by 6kg. to 24 and the range increased from 40 to 75 km. The price of the fuel cell is still high but should drop with increased production. Aprillia expects practical use of the new fuel cell within five years. (GE)
