WARSAW, Poland (August 9) - Decathlon recently opened its first outlet in Poland after three years of market analysis. The multi-category sports formula is similar to that in France and every other European country where Decathlon operates: no other brands than the home label Decathlon will be sold. Self-confidently the sports retailer poses itself as an A-brand. According to their own figures, Decathlon are the biggest bicycle traders in Europe. Bicycles are also a main product in the Polish Decathlon where 12 sales people are attending the bicycle department. Bicycles ranging from US$71 up to US$ 1,899 are sold. These bikes are soured from 5 to 6 different factories in different countries, among those Polish Arkus. (MU)
