Laguna Beach, CA (September 17) - The Las Vegas Interbike Show which is scheduled for 30 September - October 3, 2001 will continue as planned, despite the recent terrorists attacks in New York and Washington. This was recently announced by Interbike and parent company VNU Expositions. The announcement comes in response to the high volume of phone calls and emails received from international exhibitors, retailers, distributors, and industry affiliates planning to attend this year's expo.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this terrible incident and we are praying for the safety, health and recovery of everyone involved. We hope that the tragedies of September 11th are behind us and the international bicycle industry will move forward with business, prosperity and peace," stated Lance Camisasca, Interbike's show director.
