TAIPEI, Taiwan--According to the organizers of the Taipei Cycle Show, the 2000 edition will feature over 600 exhibitors, a record. Among the activities at this year's show will be the Year 2000 Bicycle Design Competition, the Year 2000 Showcase of Winning Innovative Bicycle Parts and Accessories, A Reception Evening, bicycle trials and performances and a series of trade seminars.
In the first seven months of 1999 Taiwan's bicycle exports increased by 10.79% to TWD18.3 billion (US$580 million).(JW)
