SHANGHAI, China (April 28) - The Shanghai International Exhibition Company Ltd. (SIEC) announces that the China Cycle 2003 Show is now planned for mid-August. Detailed dates have not yet been established.
Next to the period in which the show will be held, the SIEC also replied on Bike Europe's questions regarding payments made by exhibitors for their booths. SIEC manager Jin Sheng-ling said: "With regard to refunds of payments for booked booths; we shall inform exhibitors once the exact dates for the China Cycle Show 2003 are set. However, in principle there will be no refunds."
After causing a big drop in the number of visitors and buyers at this year's Taipei Cycle Show due to the flu-like SARS virus; the Shanghai International Exhibition Company Ltd. (SIEC) decided April 21 to postpone the China Cycle Show 2003 which was scheduled from May 3 to 6 in Shanghai. (JB)
